AT&T has an outage currently. This outage causes no outside calling in our district. You will still receive incoming calls and you can call district extensions. You cannot call any 10 digit numbers at this time. We will update you on the progress routinely.

Laurens Elementary will dismiss at 1:00 PM today. All afterschool activities are cancelled for today. We will also have a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning. School will begin at 9:50 tomorrow for LES students.
LAURENS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SPRING CALENDAR FUNDRAISER
Laurens Elementary School is now collecting donations for a raffle calendar fundraiser in
March. You or your business can donate merchandise, gift cards, a service or any
time of prize. We will advertise the prizes and your business on the calendars prior to
the drawing. Donors and businesses will also be highlighted on our school Facebook page.
Ticket sales will begin in February! Drawings will occur each day in March!

October is National Principals Month. Today, we celebrate Laurens Elementary School Principal Ashley Bragg and shoutout her 5-Star Qualities as a school leader.
Mrs. Turner's third grade class had a Zoom call on Monday, October, 28, 2024, with one of Auburn University’s basketball players.
Primary Montessori had a special visit today from Mrs. Kelsey’s brother in law, Justin Pelfrey. Justin has been a full time firefighter for 17+ years and currently serves in Anderson County and is a volunteer firefighter for Gray Court Fire Department. The class learned all about his gear, the importance of fire safety like stop, drop and roll, as well as having a fire plan with your family. Students also learned what to listen for if they are ever in a fire and were reminded to never hide from a firefighter, to rather yell “help!” or “over here!”
